Sérgio Assad

Sérgio Assad is a Brazilian classical guitarist, composer and arranger who began his career in the 1970s and is primarily associated with classical guitar and chamber music rooted in Brazilian musical traditions. His work blends Brazilian folk and popular styles with classical forms through compositions, transcriptions and collaborative projects, broadening the contemporary classical guitar repertoire and supporting cross-cultural chamber music initiatives.
