Rinaldo Alessandrini is an Italian conductor and harpsichordist from Rome who began his career in the early 1980s and is principally associated with early music and Baroque repertoire. He specialises in historically informed performances of Italian Baroque vocal and instrumental music, founding and directing a period ensemble and producing recordings that have supported the revival and study of 17th- and 18th-century repertoire.
