Anna Tomowa‐Sintow

Anna Tomowa‑Sintow is a Bulgarian operatic soprano from Stara Zagora who studied in Sofia and Leipzig and began her professional career in the late 1960s, performing initially in Eastern and Central European opera houses. Her repertoire spans lyric and more dramatic roles in German and Italian opera, with a shift over time from early lyric parts towards heavier Strauss and Wagner roles and notable appearances at the Vienna State Opera and Salzburg Festival.
