Jean‐Christophe Spinosi

Jean-Christophe Spinosi is a French conductor and violinist who founded the period-instrument Ensemble Matheus in Corsica in the early 1990s, specialising in baroque and classical repertoire. His work spans baroque, bel canto opera and Romantic orchestral repertoire and is characterised by a focus on historically informed performance and frequent collaborations with European opera houses and festivals.
