The Peabody Symphony Orchestra is the principal student orchestra of the Peabody Conservatory at Johns Hopkins University, based in Baltimore, Maryland, performing within the classical orchestral tradition. It programmes repertoire from Baroque to contemporary works, provides practical orchestral training for conservatory students through regular concerts and collaborations with guest conductors and soloists, and participates in the cultural and educational life of Baltimore through outreach performances.
