Hebrides Ensemble is a Scottish contemporary chamber ensemble formed in Stornoway in the 2000s and based in the Outer Hebrides, established to perform and commission new classical music in the islands. Their work blends contemporary classical and chamber traditions with elements of Scottish traditional music, and they frequently commission new pieces, collaborate with local musicians and present site-specific performances and educational outreach across the islands and beyond.
