Swirlies

Swirlies are an American indie rock band formed in Boston, Massachusetts, in 1990, associated with shoegaze, noise pop and lo-fi traditions. Their music blended shimmering, guitar-driven shoegaze textures and melodic noise-pop in early releases and later expanded to include sample-based electronics and experimental arrangements, situating them within the early 1990s US indie scene that engaged with British shoegaze influences.
