Mamak Khadem is an Iranian-born singer who relocated to the United States and began performing as a solo artist and collaborator within Persian traditional and world music circles. Her work blends Persian classical and Sufi vocal traditions with contemporary arrangements, often incorporating elements of jazz, folk and electronic instrumentation while addressing diasporic Iranian cultural themes.
