Victor Davies is a Canadian composer and pianist from Winnipeg, Manitoba, born in 1939, whose career began in the 1960s and encompasses classical, choral, operatic, film and theatrical music. His output includes orchestral, chamber and vocal works and music for stage and screen, often incorporating elements of jazz and popular idioms into formal classical structures and contributing to Canadian music theatre and broadcasting.
