Henryk Melcer-Szczawiński
Henryk Melcer-Szczawiński was a Polish composer, pianist, conductor and pedagogue born in Warsaw who was active from the late 19th into the early 20th century. His music blends late-Romantic harmonic language with elements of Polish folk and nationalist idioms across piano solo pieces, chamber works, orchestral compositions and songs, and he contributed to Poland's musical life as a performer, conductor and teacher.
