Jean Roger‐Ducasse

Jean Roger-Ducasse was a French composer from Bordeaux, active from the late 19th century into the mid-20th century, who worked mainly in the classical tradition writing orchestral, choral, operatic and chamber music. His musical style blends late-Romantic forms and harmonic language with elements of French clarity and occasional impressionistic colour, and his career encompassed contributions to stage works, sacred music and teaching within the French musical establishment.
