Elisabeth Grümmer

Elisabeth Grümmer was a German operatic soprano who began her career in the 1930s and established herself at major European opera houses during the mid-20th century. She specialised in lyric soprano repertoire, particularly Mozart, Richard Strauss and German Lieder, and contributed to the post-war opera and recording scene through extensive stage and studio work.
