Don Sleet

Don Sleet was an American jazz trumpeter who emerged on the West Coast jazz scene in the early 1960s, beginning his career in small ensembles and studio work within hard bop and cool jazz contexts. His playing combined hard bop influences with cool West Coast sensibilities, and his relatively limited recorded output reflects the stylistic crosscurrents of that period.
