Tristan Honsinger

Tristan Honsinger is an American-born cellist and improviser who established his career in Europe from the 1970s, working within free improvisation, avant-garde jazz and experimental music. He developed an approach that blends extended techniques, theatrical vocal and narrative elements with composed material, moving between solo performance, small-group improvisation and commissioned chamber works within the European free-music and experimental theatre scenes.
