Texas Troubadours

The Texas Troubadours are an American country band formed in Texas in the late 1940s as the backing band for Ernest Tubb, associated primarily with honky-tonk and traditional country music. Their sound featured prominent steel guitar and fiddle alongside tight ensemble arrangements, and over several decades of touring and recording they contributed to the mid-20th-century honky-tonk scene in the United States.
