Firminus Caron

Firminus Caron was a Franco-Flemish composer active in the mid-15th century, associated with the Burgundian school and likely originating from northern France or the Low Countries. His surviving works, including masses, motets and secular chansons, exhibit dense polyphonic textures, rhythmic complexity and mensural experimentation characteristic of mid‑Renaissance Franco‑Flemish practice and reflect developments in continental polyphony.
