Bjørnar Andresen

Bjørnar Andresen was a Norwegian jazz musician from Oslo who began his career in the 1960s and worked primarily as an upright bassist within jazz and free jazz contexts. His style ranged from melodic accompaniment to extended techniques and collective improvisation, and over his career he moved between post-bop, avant-garde free improvisation and experimental electroacoustic projects within the Scandinavian jazz scene.
