Capriccio Stravagante

Capriccio Stravagante is an early-music ensemble formed in Europe in the 1980s that specialises in Baroque repertoire and historically informed performance. They perform using period instruments and Baroque performance practices, frequently exploring Franco-Italian repertoire, reconstructed rarities and elements of improvisation and theatrical presentation.
