Audra McDonald

Audra McDonald is an American soprano, actress and singer born in West Berlin and raised in the United States who began her professional stage career after training at the Juilliard School in the early 1990s, specialising in musical theatre and classical repertoire. Her work spans Broadway musical theatre, opera, concert repertoire and television, characterised by a soprano voice and sustained engagement with both contemporary and classic theatre material.
