Chris Abrahams

Chris Abrahams is a New Zealand-born pianist and keyboard player who began his career in the 1980s and is based in Australia, best known as a founding member of the experimental jazz trio The Necks. His work spans minimalist piano compositions, extended improvisation and electronic textures across solo recordings, collaborative projects and soundtrack work, and has contributed to the development of Australia's experimental jazz and improvised music scene.
