Voice Crack were a Swiss experimental duo formed in Zurich in the early 1970s, originally emerging from the free improvisation scene. They developed a practice often described as 'cracked everyday electronics', transforming radios, contact microphones and other household devices into live sound sources and moving from acoustic improvisation towards abstract electroacoustic and noise-based performance, contributing to developments in European experimental and electroacoustic music.
