Polwechsel
Polwechsel are an Austrian ensemble formed in Vienna in 1993, working at the intersection of contemporary composition and free improvisation. They explore sparse, sustained textures and subtle dynamics that blend composed material with improvisation, and are associated with the European experimental and improvised-music scenes.
