Carl Davis

Carl Davis is an American-born composer and conductor who began his career in the mid-20th century and became chiefly associated with film and television music after relocating to the United Kingdom. His work blends orchestral, period-informed scoring and silent-film accompaniment with arrangements and concert pieces, and he has been involved in restorations and projects that support the preservation of film-music traditions.
