Carl Ludwig Hübsch is a German tuba player and composer who emerged from the European improvised-music and jazz scenes in the late 20th century, working primarily in jazz, free improvisation and experimental music. He combines extended techniques on the tuba with composed structures and collective improvisation, exploring timbre, texture and chamber-like ensemble settings and contributing to contemporary European free-jazz and improvised-music communities.
