Gary Wilson

Gary Wilson is an American experimental singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Endicott, New York, who began recording and performing in the mid-1970s and is associated with lo-fi, avant-garde pop and experimental R&B. His work blends jazz, funk, electronic textures and spoken-word elements into home-recorded compositions, and after a long period of obscurity his early recordings were rediscovered, prompting renewed activity and subsequent releases that expanded his lo-fi, experimental approach.
