Denis Stevens
Denis Stevens was an English musicologist and conductor born in 1922 whose career began in the mid-20th century and centred on research and performance of early music. He specialised in Renaissance and Baroque repertoire, producing scholarly editions and recordings that contributed to the early music revival and informed historically informed performance practice in Britain.
