Nightmares on Wax

Nightmares on Wax are an electronic music project formed in Leeds, England, in the late 1980s, arising from the city's emerging electronic and rave scenes and releasing early material on independent labels. Their music fuses elements of trip-hop, downtempo, soul, funk and dub-influenced electronica, evolving from early electro and acid-influenced dance tracks into mellow, sample-rich downtempo and chillout compositions associated with 1990s chillout culture.
