Stephen Dodgson

Stephen Dodgson was an English composer whose career began in the mid-twentieth century and who worked primarily in the classical tradition, producing operas, chamber music, concertos and a substantial repertoire for guitar and lute. His music combines traditional tonal frameworks with modernist harmony and rhythmic invention, and he contributed to expanding the twentieth-century repertoire for plucked instruments while also composing for theatre and radio.
