His Name Is Alive

His Name Is Alive are an American experimental rock project formed in Livonia, Michigan, in the mid-1980s, whose output draws on dream pop, indie rock and neo-psychedelia. Initially emerging from lo-fi home recordings, their work evolved through varied studio approaches and rotating collaborators to incorporate elements of ambient, folk, soul and experimental pop, and is characterised by shifting styles and atmospheric production.
