James Plotkin

James Plotkin is an American musician, composer and producer who began his career in the late 1980s and early 1990s within underground metal, industrial and noise scenes, later moving into solo and collaborative projects spanning experimental metal, noise, ambient and electronic music. His work combines heavily processed guitar and electronics, drone and texture-based approaches, and extensive production, remixing and mastering activities, with releases that cross between dense, distorted metal idioms and sparse electroacoustic and ambient explorations.
