Mette Rasmussen is a Danish saxophonist based in Copenhagen who has worked since the 2000s in free jazz and improvised music. Her playing employs extended techniques and elements of noise alongside melodic fragments, spanning duo settings to larger ensembles and placing her within the European free-improvisation and experimental music scenes.
