moe. are an American rock band formed in Buffalo, New York, in 1989, associated with the jam band and progressive rock scenes. Their music emphasises extended improvisation, genre-blending of rock, jazz and bluegrass influences, and their career has alternated between free-form live performances and more structured studio recordings.
