Stuart Broomer

Stuart Broomer is a Canadian music journalist, editor, pianist and composer who began his career in the 1970s writing about jazz, improvised and experimental music within Canada's cultural scene. Combining performance in improvised and contemporary jazz with long-standing critical and editorial work, he has documented and analysed developments in Canadian jazz and experimental music while contributing compositions and piano performances that engage with improvisational practices.
