Kermit Driscoll

Kermit Driscoll is an American bassist and composer who emerged in the New York downtown jazz scene in the 1980s and has worked in both electric and double-bass contexts across jazz and experimental music. His playing and compositions draw on post-bop, avant-garde and Americana elements, shifting between free improvisation and composed frameworks and reflecting cross-genre collaboration within contemporary jazz circles.
