Gail Brand is a British trombonist, composer and bandleader who began her career in the 1990s within contemporary jazz and experimental music. Her work combines jazz improvisation with composed frameworks, chamber and electronic influences, and ensemble arrangements that explore extended techniques and cross-genre collaboration.
