Gord Grdina Trio are a Canadian jazz group formed in Vancouver, British Columbia, emerging from the city's improvisational scene in the 1990s and centred on a guitarist-led trio format. Their music blends modern jazz, free improvisation and elements of folk and rock, evolving through composed pieces and open-ended improvisation that emphasise textural guitar lines and rhythmic interplay.
