Wihan Quartet
The Wihan Quartet are a Czech string quartet formed in Prague in the mid-1980s, taking their name from the Czech cellist Hanuš Wihan and specialising in classical chamber repertoire. Their repertoire spans Classical and Romantic works alongside twentieth-century and contemporary Czech chamber music, with programming and recordings that emphasise Czech musical traditions within the broader European string-quartet literature.
