Edicson Ruiz

Edicson Ruiz is a Venezuelan double bassist who began his musical education in the Sistema youth orchestra programme and established a career in classical orchestral and chamber music in Europe. Drawing on his Venezuelan training, he combines classical double-bass technique with a repertoire spanning symphonic, chamber and solo works and has contributed to cultural exchange between Latin American and European classical traditions.
