Loscil

Loscil is an ambient electronic project from Vancouver, Canada, that began releasing music in the late 1990s and is associated with ambient, minimal and electronic genres. Known for textural, loop-based compositions blending pulses, field recordings and synthesiser atmospheres, the work has evolved across albums to incorporate denser orchestration and conceptual themes, situating it within contemporary ambient and electronic music contexts.
