Cymande
Cymande is a British funk group formed in London in 1971, with members drawn from the Afro-Caribbean diaspora of Guyana, Jamaica, and Saint Vincent. Their music weaves together funk, soul, reggae, jazz, and African rhythms, and their recordings have been widely sampled by hip-hop artists since the late 1980s.
