Hungarian Rhapsodies nos. 1, 4, 5 & 6 is a selection of piano works by Franz Liszt, composed and published in the mid-19th century (circa 1846–1853). The pieces draw on Hungarian folk and verbunkos themes and feature virtuosic piano writing, dramatic contrasts and nationalistic elements that mark an important stage in Liszt's development and in the 19th-century piano repertoire.
