Symphony No. 6 is the sixth symphony by Austrian composer Anton Bruckner, completed in 1881. It is a large-scale orchestral work in the Romantic tradition characterised by expansive structures, rich harmonic language and sudden shifts of tempo, and it occupies a transitional place in Bruckner's output between his earlier works and his later, more widely performed symphonies.
