Symphony No. 8 is the eighth symphony by Austrian composer Gustav Mahler, completed in 1906 and premièred in 1910. A vast late-Romantic choral work that fuses large orchestra, multiple choirs and vocal soloists, it combines symphonic and vocal forms in an expansive, richly orchestrated idiom and stands near the end of Mahler's creative output.
