Suites for Solo Cello is a set of three suites for solo cello by English composer Benjamin Britten, composed in 1964. Drawing on Baroque forms and incorporating extended techniques, the music blends lyrical passages, dissonant harmonies and shifting metres to expand the expressive and technical range of the cello, marking Britten's late-career engagement with the solo string repertoire.
