Symphony No. 7 in E
Album by Anton Bruckner & Berliner Philharmoniker & Wilhelm Furtwängler
Symphony No. 7 in E major is the seventh symphony by Austrian composer Anton Bruckner, completed in 1883 and first performed in 1884. It is a late-Romantic work characterised by expansive, organ-like orchestration, long arching phrases and an emphatic E major finale, and it occupies a key place in Bruckner's mature output and the late-Romantic symphonic tradition.
