Rock Bottom is Robert Wyatt’s second solo album, released in 1974 on Virgin Records and produced by Nick Mason, created in the aftermath of an accident that left Wyatt paralysed from the waist down. It blends experimental, jazz and progressive traditions associated with the Canterbury scene, exploring themes of recovery, intimacy and dreamlike imagery.
