Straight Ahead is a studio album by American jazz singer Abbey Lincoln, released in 1961. Musically, the album is rooted in vocal jazz and hard bop with spare, improvisational arrangements and a strong focus on rhythmic phrasing, and it forms part of Lincoln's early-1960s output as she moved toward more assertive, politically conscious and stylistically adventurous work.
