Cured is the fifth studio album by English guitarist Steve Hackett, released in 1981. Musically it is leaner and more pop- and new wave-influenced than his earlier progressive rock albums, with shorter song structures, prominent synthesiser textures and electronic rhythms, and it shows a move away from extended instrumental passages in his solo career.
