Cantatas, BWV 23–26 are a set of sacred cantatas by Johann Sebastian Bach, composed in the early 18th century. They exemplify Bach's Baroque choral and instrumental writing—with contrapuntal choruses, expressive solo writing and varied instrumental colour—and belong to his prolific period of liturgical composition that helped shape the church cantata genre.
