Urban Latin
Urban Latin music emerged in the late 1990s, primarily from Latin America and the UK, blending reggaeton, hip hop, and a generous sprinkling of swagger. It’s like every party you’ve ever been to, where the bass is thumping, the rhythms are infectious, and the lyrics often celebrate everything from love to a cheeky night out. Not quite a cultural phenomenon yet, but it does have enough fans to fill a couple of football stadiums – if you're willing to overlook the occasional rivalry amongst aficionados.
